Programming on Hawk Country 106.9 KIHK came on air in late 1997, joining KSOU-AM and FM. It began as a 24-hour country music station and continues spinning the newest country hits today. WEATHER: KIHK gives you the latest weather information at about 25 minutes after and 10 minutes before the top of each hour. When severe weather strikes, count on KIHK to keep you informed. SPORTS: Local high school sports is another high priority year-round. Along with KSOU, we cover nine schools in our listening area including Sioux Center, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, West Sioux, Western Christian, Unity Christian, Central Lyon/GLR, West Lyon and MOC-Floyd Valley.
